It has been a busy year so far. Immediately after the Open Studio’s event in May I was working to get some large paintings ready for the Summer Show at the Eduardo Alessandro Gallery in Broughty Ferry. I love working on a large canvas and am currently working on a really large landscape for the Enid Hutt Gallery in Aberdeen where another set of my paintings are showing right now. Meanwhile the framing work keeps coming in and that gives me a chance to see the kind of art people like to buy plus I get to chat to people about how to make the frame work to the best advantage to show off their art work. In between all of this I work on the garden . . . and on the sheds. I do love a good shed, as those of you who saw my shed on a shed at the open studios will know. It is here in my garden now ready for next May’s event!
